EF includes working memory, flexible thinking, and self-control. We use these skills every day to learn, work, and manage daily life. Trouble with executive function can make it hard to focus, follow directions, and handle emotions, among other things. The training will offer practical support that can be embedded in the classroom.
THIS SESSION IS FOR TAs ONLY This session will explore the Excel adaptive teaching approach and how, as a Teaching Assistant, you can support pupils by adapting tasks to meet their individual needs while maintaining pupil independence. Room: H6
This session is an opportunity for subject leaders to share best practice and discuss how to build on current successes to shape the development of their subject in schools across the Trust. Please note: A half-day release is required to attend this session.
