Our Aspiring Principal programme seeks to prepare senior leaders for their next step into headship. Session 01: HR – an overview of what HR issues you might be faced with, the pitfalls to watch out for and how to deal with them professionally and efficiently.
Session 02: CLFP (curriculum led financial planning) & benchmarking.
Session 03: School budgets – how to set a realistic budget and more importantly stick to it.
Session 04: SEND – a summary on special educational needs including funding streams and updates on current legislation.
Session 05: Health & Safety – a principal’s responsibilities for health & safety.
Session 06: Legal powers – what are they? and how can they can be applied?

Please note that it is the expectation that once signed up the delegate will attend all sessions and complete the programme to gain their CPD certificate.
